This Hotel offers very spacious quality accommodation in an ideal location, on the beach at Askeli, and just 1km from the bustling harbour at Poros. The hotel, which has recently undergone complete refurbishment, has a large swimming pool with a hydro massage system.
The hotel has starred in many Greek films and over the years has developed a following of fiercely loyal clients who come regularly for its unique hospitality and atmosphere.
The hotel has a fine restaurant featuring traditional Greek cuisine with fresh fish every day. A cafe and bar on the spacious veranda and in the enclosed salon overlook the sea.
Guests have a choice of water sports, including scuba diving, excursions to a forest of lemon trees, cruises to nearby Hydra and around the island itself.
Askeli beach offers a choice of water sports including skiing, yachting, banana boat, etc. Built on a unique and exclusive spot right on the beach, the hotel offers old fashioned hospitality combined with the most modern comforts and with a superb view of the sea from almost every room. Better yet, guests can enjoy their daily swim on the hotel`s own private beach or the superb swimming pool with hydro massage.
All rooms are en-suite, with walk in showers or baths, some with jacuzzi. There is a safe deposit box, TV and fridge. All rooms are air conditioned.

Haven on Earth has personal knowledge of the Saronic islands and will do their best to make your holiday a positively enjoyable experience. For those who enjoy dining out they will be spoilt for choice along the harbour and beachside with waterfront restaurants offering friendly service as well as fantastic sea food. There are many historic sites to visit and with the mainland at Galatas less than 3 minutes across the water there is plenty of opportunity for exploration. Poros is ideally placed for an island hopping experience with fast or slow ferries at the harbour waiting to take you to other Saronic islands or back to Athens from where many more islands can be visited. Nearby islands in the Saronic Gulf are Hydra, Spetses and Aegina, all of which can be accessed via fast ferry from Poros. If you want to island hop further afield you can nip back to Athens and take a ferry to a whole host of other islands including Mykonos. If you like the idea of a sailing and land-based holiday we can recommend yacht chartering services from the harbour where you can also hire a skipper to take care of you. Villas with pool and yacht chartering are available on the mainland at Ancient Epidavros and on the island of Zakynthos in the Ionion group of islands. |
